Members of the Lancaster County State Delegation discuss top issues affecting our busiensses including transportation and infrastructure; rising energy and health insurance costs; and business taxes. During this breakfast meeting, attendees heard from Lancaster County's state delegation on how they're addressing today's most significant legislative issues.
Lancaster's Government Study Commission (GSC) members gave a fresh insight about their recommendation to move forward with a home rule charter at The Chamber's Wake Up to the Issues Forum held in August. Commissioners Dr. Carol Phillips, Mary Clinton, Sam Mecum, Jim Miller, Joyce Moyer, Bill Saylor, John Smucker and Heidi Wheaton discussed the majority's interim report to the community, their thoughts on how a home rule charter could provide the structure and flexibility to better serve Lancaster County citizens and future plans for the GSC.
