The Lancaster County Housing Coalition in conjunction with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology held an Affordable Housing Design Scholarship Competition for Thaddeus Stevens students enrolled in the Architectural Technology Degree program. First place winner Kevin Hoober, second place winner Kevin Bollinger and third place winner Matthew Haverstick attended a scholarship award ceremony to review and discuss their designs with the community. Participating students’ designs were judged on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, accessibility for the physically challenged and construction cost.
